Job Description:

Leidos has an opening for a Full-Time (32 hours/week) Intelligence and Communications Specialist to support work in San Antonio, Texas.  Position will be 100% telework from home with about 10% for potential travel. Candidates must currently possess a TS/SCI security clearance in order to be considered. The primary responsibility of the individual is to develop integrated marketing, outreach, and communications in support of themes and objectives derived from 16 AF mission, objectives, emerging contingencies, and approved plans and programs in direct support of military objectives and operations. The candidate will assist with the development of curriculum designed to improve the analytical and Critical Thinking skills of all airmen, with an emphasis on Structured Analytic Techniques (SATs) and working collaboratively with 16 AF and other units to build additional curriculum. The candidate shall also work with Business Development and Leadership as required, so that all Leidos messaging and communications are synchronized and coordinated.

As it emerges, continued support will encompass the full spectrum of the intelligence cycle and fulfill intelligence needs necessary for situational awareness, information sharing General Military Intelligence (GMI), targeting, Collection Management Authority and Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) management, CI/HUMINT, warning, theater strategy implementation, joint operations and exercises and joint contingency/deliberate planning.

Travel to support mission requirements in both Contiguous United States (CONUS) and OCONUS locations is anticipated.  The candidate will be expected to brief senior leaders, provide status updates, and mentor junior employees.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS clearance with access to SCI based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)

  • Requires a BA/BS (experience may be substituted in lieu of degree).

  • 8-12 years of military intelligence experience or defense planning, and familiarity with multiple Combatant Commands (COCOM) Areas of Responsibility (AOR) and organization

  • Knowledge of staff action processes and organizational structure of the COCOM and Intelligence Enterprise

  • Understand Critical Thinking and Structured Analytic Techniques.

  • Experience writing curriculum for online instruction using common software.

  • Experience collaborating with various HQs and Units to develop and produce collaborative curriculum for online instruction, and/or, unit use.

  • Experience briefing senior Government leadership

  • Experience working with Department of State regarding planning activities and public diplomacy

  • Experience working across the Multiple COCOM AORs.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $94,250.00 - $145,000.00 - $195,750.00
