Being a part of the Leidos NOAA Cyber Security Operations Center (SOC), means you will be working on very important Cyber Security Initiatives that are handed down directly from the Executive Branch. Some of your work will come directly from the President via Executive orders. The NOAA program is a great place to start a Cyber Security career at Leidos. We offer candidates certification reimbursements that help you both ascend your career, and keep you on top of the most recent cyber security procedures and threats. Starting off as an Intrusion Analyst, you can navigate your way into different positions throughout the SOC or SOCs at other Leidos programs.
NOAA's main facility is located in Fairmont, WV, a growing Cyber Security Hub that enjoys a low cost of living, low crime rate, and an excellent school system with excellent graduation rates in most schooling levels, enrollment rates, teacher to student ratio, and extra programs. Fairmont is also located a short distance from West Virginia University and Marshall University. Both of these institutions offer great Cyber Security Programs along with other their other majors.
