Interested in joining a team that is transforming the transportation industry and putting a stamp on transportation of the future?
Leidos is seeking a diverse range of professionals and technologists to join our team at the Saxton Transportation and Operations Laboratory (STOL or Saxton Lab), located just outside of Washington DC. The Saxton Lab is a state-of-the-art facility that supports Connected Automated Vehicle (CAV) Research and Development across the nation through our work with the U.S. Department of Transportation and Federal Highway Administration. Our team advances CAV technology for the USDOT by developing, testing, and championing the adoption of technologies associated with Vehicle-to-Vehicle and Vehicle-to-Infrastructure communications as well as Cooperative Driving Automation (CDA). The lab is based out of the Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA) Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center (TFHRC) in McLean, VA.
From our Scientists and Engineers, to our Communications and Marketing staff, our teammates enjoy a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment working directly with Federal, State and Local DOTs, Universities, and cutting edge technology vendors across the Transportation and Automotive industries. If you’re interested shaping the future of connected and automated transportation technology and want to join an interdisciplinary team of futurists, look no further.
